Clinical applications:
Neurosurgery. It is possible to functionally map the motor cortex, helping the neurosurgeon accurately navigate in functionally important areas of the brain in order to perform the removal of the tumor with the greatest accuracy, while preserving the most functionally important brain areas.
Epileptology. ORG will map the functioning brain areas to the acute stage of stroke, monitor dynamic changes in the cortex areas during the recovery period, which allows to plan the volume and evaluate the results of the therapy.
Neurology – strokes. ORG, probably, will allow to define focal points of epileptic activity and to create a map for surgical intervention.
Therapy. The use of the biofeedback with this technique for therapy: attention disorders (deficit or hyperactivity), head injuries, and depression (including bipolar depression and seasonal emotional disorder).
Application in professional selection:
Provides a new approach in professional selection combining and complementing the advantages of projective methods. The optorhythmograph assesses the emotional reaction accompanying the fulfillment of tasks, based on the analysis of trends in the recorded energy activity indicators. This will allow personnel and professional selection of applicants for exclusive profession types: operators in the energy, nuclear, and oil and gas industries, dispatchers in transport, flight personnel, employees of the law-enforcement authorities, managers of various levels.
Application in sports:
It is possible to use the technology to determine the adaptive resources and functional reserves of the athlete's brain.
Computer and innovative technologies:
Operation of external devices. In particular, this device can be used instead of a computer mouse.
